I want to say thank you if you took time to complete my local survey on digital ID cards. With a total of 244 responses, mainly from the West Suffolk area, you can see the results below. 2. Given that the proposal did not feature in Labour’s election manifesto in 2024, 87% of respondents believe there should be a public consultation / debate over the issue.

3. 63% of respondents did not feel that the present approach of passports and driving licences being used as photographic ID was ‘inadequate’. 37% felt this present approach was inadequate.
