Nick Timothy MP visited the Anglo-Saxon Village at West Stow Country Park on 23 January 2026.
Commenting, Mr Timothy said:
“This local attraction is a treasure. The site reveals an early settlement occupied from AD 420-650, painstakingly reconstructed by experts. Visitors can step into the weaving house, sunken house, and farmer’s house to experience life 1,500 years ago.
“It is a living museum filled with fascinating artefacts showcasing Suffolk’s rich archaeological heritage.
I was delighted to visit and hear about the meticulous work that has brought it to life – it is a wonderful trip for a family.”
