Secondary school students have been given first-hand insights into the world of politics following a special visit.
West Suffolk MP Nick Timothy visited Breckland School, in Brandon to speak with students about his role in Parliament.
Mr Timothy was also given a tour of the school and said he was hugely impressed by the engagement of students in political life.
He explained: “Visiting Breckland is always hugely enjoyable and this was no exception.
“I was shown around by two students who are a credit to their school and I was delighted to answer challenging and pressing questions from the pupils at the end.
“I would like to say a big thanks to staff and students for making me feel so welcome.”
Head of school Annabelle Culley-Tea said: “We would like to thank Nick Timothy MP for visiting the school and sharing such fascinating insights with our students.
“We would also like to say a special thank you to Liz Mason, our teacher of ethics and philosophy, who organised the visit.”
