Britain was once the world leader in civil nuclear technology. Between 1956 and 1966 we built ten nuclear reactors. Today that seems impossible. But we need nuclear – not more intermittent wind and solar – and we need to get on with it. Here is Nick Timothy MP’s response to Ed Miliband on 10 June 2025.
