On 24 September 2025, Nick Timothy — the MP for West Suffolk — had a fantastic time visiting the Mildenhall Museum, which has brilliant exhibits detailing the local history all the way back to the stone ages.
Nick said: “I loved the display telling the story of the Great Air Race – from Mildenhall to Melbourne – in 1934, and replicas of Roman treasure discovered by local farmers in 1942.
“I greatly appreciated the team of volunteers there — including Kay Finnis and Lloyd and Anne Hughes — taking the time to show me around and explain the fascinating displays.
I recommend a visit!”
