Last month Nick Timothy MP wrote to Suffolk County Council to add his voice in support of several local parish councils that were calling for the re-opening of Low Green, just south of Bury St Edmunds.

It had become a no-through road during the closure of the A134 and this was having a bad impact on local businesses such as The Friendly Loaf bakery.

Now he is pleased to report that the road is being re-opened for use by drivers during the week (Monday to Friday) when the A134 is open. This should be of benefit to the bakery and hopefully those who use the road for the school run.
