Nick Timothy writes to Transport Secretary to confirm her commitment to the upgrade to the A11 Fiveways roundabout.

After maxing out and losing control of public spending, the Government is now CUTTING important budgets to part-fund the Defence Investment Plan.

Instead of cutting welfare spending, they are cutting budgets that should help the economy to grow - like transport infrastructure projects.

I have written to the Secretary of State for Transport to confirm her commitment to important local projects - including the upgrade to the A11 Fiveways roundabout and the Ely and Haughley rail project, which should improve our train connections and get freight off local roads.
