Clare is lucky to have such a thriving high street and Nick Timothy MP enjoyed meeting the owners of businesses there last week for a roundtable discussion on 9 May 2025.

The challenges for those running shops and cafes in the smallest town in Suffolk are similar to those elsewhere, including concerns about taxes, rates and rent, access to parking, and the decision by West Suffolk District Council to impose costly pavement licences for outdoor seating.
Nick will continue to fight for business owners and protect and promote our high streets.
