Billions in subsidies are being paid to the Drax power plant to import millions of trees to burn to give us energy that is twice the price of gas. This is another net zero farce, and Nick Timothy MP responded to the Government for the Conservatives as we considered the regulations introducing the new subsidy on Monday 2 June 2025.
