The Government’s regulations for the Infected Blood Compensation Scheme move the goalposts for victims.
They introduce new exclusions, treat victims inconsistently and reduce some previously-agreed awards.
Indeed, there have been drastic changes both to eligibility criteria and to the compensation timeframe.
On 19 March 2025, Nick Timothy MP asked the Prime Minister about this issue on behalf of a constituent. Sir Keir Starmer’s answer was not good enough. The victims deserve justice.
