Labour’s National Insurance rise will add £11 million to social care costs in Suffolk, with no plan to make up the shortfall. Nick Timothy MP brought this up in the House of Commons today. Ministers don’t seem to realise this isn’t a game with the Tories in Parliament. GPs, hospices, charities and pharmacies are waiting for the Government to come up with a solution to the problem it created. Sadly the response from the Minister was one of those answers that was a complete and utter waste of time.
