On Monday 21 July 2025 — in response to a question from Nick Timothy MP — Diana Johnson, the Home Office minister, told Parliament local MPs are “engaged” when asylum seekers are moved into a community.
This is untrue. So Mr Timothy asked her to correct the record.
The secrecy and lies about Labour’s immigration policies are completely unacceptable.
