Nick Timothy MP’s first big campaign as Shadow Justice Secretary is to defend the ancient English right to a trial by jury.
Keir Starmer is doubling down on his attack on jury trials, even though the statistics show doing so would only save two per cent of court time.
Mr Timothy launched a video on Friday 30 January 2026, calling on Labour MPs to do the decent thing and join our opposition to the Starmer plan.
His plea has won the support of the leading Labour rebel, Karl Turner.
