Nick Timothy MP wrote to Suffolk County Council on 15 January to ask for an update on the planning proposal for a bio-digestion plant near Withersfield and Haverhill.
Nick met campaigners near the site last year. They agreed that this would be the wrong facility in the wrong location. He continues to strongly oppose the building of this facility, which would harm residents’ quality of life.
We received news this week that — after a delay — Acorn has sent in a trove of new documents. To view these submissions, please click the following link. They are dated 16/01/2025 and are to be found under ‘Documents’, mostly in the ‘Supporting Information’ section but also under ‘Plan’: https://tinyurl.com/3z372mth
Residents will have another chance to provide comments. Nick urges all who have views to send their thoughts to the council. We need to make sure that the feelings of the community are heard loud and clear. To comment on the application, please click here.
